If I was buying a stage 4, condition would be top of my list, but then I'm not mechanically minded and don't have the patience or the time to sort any issues out myself. (which you might do Peter) A reasonable priced stage 4 that then needs things doing to it could end up being more expensive than a top condition one that has everything sorted. Good luck in your quest, the examples shown in this thread look decent and reasonably priced. Smart move buying a stage 4 as it will save you money compared to doing it yourself. Having just gone down the upgrade route I know I won't get back what I've spent on it, so it's just as well I'm keeping it! :)

I would consider a stage 2 or 3 car. I'm hoping to find one soon, I'm getting tempted by a black manual UK Supra with a forged engine and a single turbo. You can get so much for your money! Ideally, I don't want to travel to far from the South!

The Supra is a nice car, and you get a lot of power for your money. Very different car to the VX though, so as long as your expectations are aligned if you do choose a VX then you shouldn't be disappointed. Apart from high power it sounds like you have a broad selection criteria :).

For a good VX a lot of people are prepared to travel so to keep your options open it might be good to consider casting your net wider, it really is worth doing that for the sake of a few hours extra travel time. thumbsup

Download the photobucket app and set up an account / upload photos. You can then post an img link in a forum post.

Yes, Birty was the second owner. I bought it from Andrew. I'm the lucky fourth owner!
