For those of you thinking about Zandvoort in the Netherlands this year, it will be on 26th of august.
Due to some webproblems, Paul had to create a euro only page showing enlisting.

http://lotus-on-trac...ute=common/home

Noise is set at 95DB, measured coming onto the straight (see arrow).
Just get off the throttle there, and you'll be fine for the day.
First time you'll be black flagged, and get explained that you're to noisy and need to fix it.

better get a move on before the price goes up , plus the pound / euro exchange rate will only get worse, so it would be fair for LoT to adjust this further.

Price: £199/230 Euros until 1/3/2013 then £225/255 Euros

Paul has fixed the problem on the LoT shop so you should all be able to see the trackday now , here is the link 50 cars , and its £199 for early bookings http://www.lotus-on-...ent.php?eid=803

I could be up for this if we can get a few vx's/speedsters together. Noise limit is a PITA though! Want to try and get some kind of euro trip in.

Mr Boots seems to have optimised the thread title. Can you do that again, and change 28 to 26?

Here's a clean run starting at 2:30 by someone knowing the lines. Zandvoort is a small village without (affordable) hotels. I would advise Hoofddorp to find that, which is 10 min from the airport, with easy train access to Amsterdam City Centre for shoe shopping wives. From the airport about 20 min to the track.

Fcuk knows what's happening now. Maybe a day for UK'ers and a separate one for Euro'ers.

does seem like there is a friday 23rd data on the usual LoT site, and 26th on the euro site.

Yes, it can bite hard if you get it wrong. (Andrew Wash crashed with a student last year on the LOT day) High speed track (former forumula 1); build up carefully.

I am in if we can get a few vxers together who can put up with the noise limit. Though the potential carnage of a night out in Amsterdam with the heavy hitters doesn't bare thinking about! chinky chinky

Sounds fun. Not sure if id be too happy chucking the keys to Emma with the little run off though and she would no doubt forget to lift in the right place so we would get kicked off for noise. She wont want to miss a night out so may have to fly in

I didn't fancy le mans again but when you start to look for an alternative you can really see what a good package it is for the two relatively safe tracks and hotel.

I went to this last year and stayed in Zandvoort with my GF, we both had a great day she looking around the town and beach me driving a brilliant track. Well recommended, in fact she wants to go again. I would also recommend a visit to Haarlem between Zandvoort and Amsterdam, like the city centre but not as tacky!

Noise limit shows 88db from 20 meters on LoTs website? Smiley has it as 95db on the opening post.
