There you go, that what behind the tubby speaker panel, it does take up most of the gap so not a lot of room for anything else.

wow i dont have that behind mine...i have a square piece of material was this introduced after 2001? or only on tubbys?

You need heavy density foam and some bitumen Matt to really quieten down the frequencies the engine makes This stuff will do: http://www.carinsula..._deadening_pads

Wasnt glued, just resting in position in my car at least. Its pretty dense and as a result pretty heavy for what it is. No idea how much of an effect it has but better than nothing!
