You having an iRantBob?I have one of those pieces of shite. No idea what Gen it is. Think its 80gb. Piece of shite crashes after about 300-400 songs. I've replaced it with a USB pen drive. fcuking hateful apple w4nk. I paid far too much for it as well.

The Alpine had an iPod module, so it's the 30 pin connector hanging out by the light switches.You connecting it via aux then?

No-one else seems to have these issues. I'm starting to think we have found the only person in the world, not able to work and ipod. I put it down to user error.
