Bleeding the clutch won't help the brakes and its completely separate , the only thing is common is the fluid reservoir.

I always keep my ABS even for track use , and I try and get a fluid that has a much lower viscosity , there are a few on the market that are good dot 4 , the ATE SL.6 , the lower boiling points have not been a problem , as the higher racey fluids degrade very quickly.

This is now my usual fluid , http://www.eurocarpa...70271&0&cc5_179 , or for you would stick 1 liter through it , http://www.eurocarpa...70272&0&cc5_179

quick update, I changed the brake fluid today using an easy bleed, dead simple really. The old fluid that came out was really black, changed the fluid with Halfords 5.0 high performance brake fluid. The pedal is now back to what i think is normal, going to take the car out for a brisk drive tomorrow, im waiting for some Pagid RS pads to come, would have done them today but missed the courier yesterday and they will only now deliver on tuesday.
