Navx, do you know how you spoke to when you booked in with Allon White?

Cannot remember his name but the initial contact (receptionist) put him through as the service manager I think. They will remember the conversation as they consulted among themselves for a bit.

 

Navx, I have mine booked in for 9th July (the soonest they could do). They were reluctant as they know nothing about it, I assured him it should be vert straight forward but not sure he believed me ;-)

I am going to buy a new module, but where is the best place to get it coded in surrey (live in camberley)?

 

I just called service dept at  Bell and covill in horsley and the chap asked what car i had! He then went blank when i said i had a VX220. But he then said they are really busy and difficult to fit me in, possibly the 1st July and would be £50 as it may take a while. i said its a 5 min job, To which he replied that he had never done one before! he then got more bewildered when i said it is the same module from an elise and have you done one of them before. He then said maybe, But cant be sure.

 

All i can say is that i will be avoiding this dealer like the plague as i have zero confident in then being remotely competent!

Great news for those in Beds, Herts and Northants. Allon White in Cranfield, Bedfordshire just activated mine. 0.4 of an hour at £65 + vat. The price £26 + vat but this may have been because they felt sorry for my missus who missed her lunch as she delivered the car for the ABS  reset and hub carrier bolts (thanks JG) replacement (1 hour job I thought). My rusty bolts (which they only understand as  Camber Shim bolts [had to email a picture] took them 2 hours to change. Glad I did not do this little job myself.

Received mine a while back, trying to find somewhere local (ish) to Hull to code.  I've tried Seriously Lotus, who suggested JCT600 in Leeds.  Eventually got a reply from JCT and they want £100! to code, didn't sound that sure.  Also tried Pure Lotus, but they say they can not do it.

 

Has anyone in my area had theirs coded yet?  If so could you give me the details.

I had intended on using JCT600 but they never returned my call. I will pop in there once I get my car back from the bodyshop.

Just been and picked mine up directly from Chris neils.  Fitted it in the car park and they reset it for me.  I can confirm its a 5 min job!
