Hi all,

Following on from my previous group buy i figured i'd offer a few more bits if anyone is interested.

This group buy will be for the engine plates found on the top of the 2.2 engine. They'll be made from 2mm brushed stainless steel.

The two options i will offer for now are:

VX220

or

VX220

Supercharged

I can do other stuff by request, just add yourself on the list and pm me with what you want.

I got the measurements off .org and apparantly dimensions are 119mm X 39mm, can someone confirm this is correct please before i go and order anything?

I estimate prices to be £21 delivered

Just a picture of the CAD drawing, hopefully gives an idea of what it'll look like!

I'd like at least 10 people in the group buy really.

I recently bought one of the ecotec supercharged badges on eBay from the US, but the bloody thing never turned up! Got my money back from eBay though, so am still in the market for one. Would prefer one of the black ones with silver engraved writing as per those ones, anodised alloy with machined lettering. Is that an option?

engraving isnt an option i'm afraid, laser cutting only.

i could knock up a CAD drawing of something similar though and see what you think?
was it one of these?

Yup, that was the one... Would be interested in seeing what could be done with laser cutting on a similar theme though. Must be a market for something thats fairly low key and neat, ie not the freakin VX220 font :P

Am I right in thinking the lettering would be completely cut out? So you'd see the black plastic through the letters?

Sweet... Sill plates are of interest too. Having them cut out to reveal the cars colour would be pretty cool I recon?

nicol, im afraid I haven't had chance to look at a CAD drawing this week, will hopefully have chance next week.

I've had a quote for just the VX220 logo (as in the photo) and I can do them £15 delivered, which is better than expected

Hi. I'm in if you do the Speedster logo?

/Marcus

yeah, i'll draw one up and i'll post a screen shot up tomorrow

Supercharged one for me too please :-)

cool, i'll put you on the list

How much is supercharged vx 220 one ??

£15 as well, the extra bit of laser cutting doesn't really cost anything, most of the expense is in materials and postage

Do you have a sample design of the supercharged one please?

i'll do a drawing tomorrow and post a picture up.

Thanks, Andy
