Has the director of this got any concept of covering a motor race? Shocking decisions.

No, it's been absolutely sh!t from start to finish. Appalling decisions all the way through.

I've not seen much this year, maybe 4 hours but I've found it massively frustrating.

It's been shocking. So much action missed for the sake of showing of Patrick Dempsey, sleeping mechanics or the big wheel.

No, one of their drivers said it in an interview. So fcuk 'em.

Well they are probably better anyway, they certainly have a smarter hybrid system. Still believe they can win, and i'm not giving up hope until the flag.

The safety car system is even worse than the coverage.

Thing I've noticed is, we are in the middle of an on track battle (which can be rare for LM) then we cut to a static picture of a car buried in a tyre wall and stay on it for over a minute then cut back to the on track battle which is over. Wait 30 mins if you need to and then show how he got there because I'll bet we won't get a replay of the overtake. Also Kimi in megane diesel advert, who forced him to do that. Also that Southern Comfort advert with bloke walking on the beach is my new favourite advert

No idea how many hours I've spent watching a safety car in the last 23 hours. That's what finally finished me earlier this morning.

They've changed it, it used to be longer and the music was better. Great ad though.

4h53m safety car up until this one.. So were looking at well over 5 hours of safety car, which i believe is the longest in history.

It's felt like every moment of that as well. It's just been one interruption after another since the accident at the start. :(

Nightmare for the strategists I guess but can't see the order changing now. Aston fcuked their race up with that last pit stop and the safety car. Gotta hope the Manthey's fall off the track on the restart.

If the aston really is on slicks and the porka on wets and it stays like this and starts drying i think aston will have a chance to get in front. I cant see toyota winning now. All audi have to do is keep it on track for 30 mins.

Aston should of mirrored what porka did. He should never of pitted.

I've got some in-car footage from one of out Bugatti circuit visits that looks just like this. Come around the back of the circuit towards the main grandstands and huge black cloud hovering over the circuit dumping tonnes of water on the pit straight.
