No progress to report, it's still SORN'd. Just thought I'd jump on the bandwagon and have a project thread that I can update with my general malaise when it comes to my VX. :D

How the hell do you fit those speaker mounts?! I tried today but gave up when it looked like it would require head in footwell, feet in air style approach!

Oi, fcuk off. This is my project. Surely that belongs in yours?

P.S. Copious upside down time in the footwell required. :o  :beat:

You know you do. Can't find my earliest photo's of it at the Honda dealership I bought it from but guess this must have been before the pension fund got transferred into the VX Upgrade fund.

I started today. I finally stripped down the Z22YH block and extracted the crank (probably for the spares bin) and took out the pistons and rods for another member. Looks like a chain tensioner failure that claimed that engine - chains all intact but one of the guides was in two pieces. P11COV came over for an ABS diagnostic which stopped play, so the block is in the boot of the Audi ready to go to the tip tomorrow (or when I next remember it as it rolls around in the boot).

All the B207/LSJ upgrade parts, looms, ECU's etc are now in one box.

I sat in it today. Well, to be more accurate, I sprawled across the seats whilst disconnecting the OP-COM interface from the OBD port (which was hooked up to see if it could talk to the alarm, I might add  ). :D
