I'd be grateful for some advice please!

 

I need a new manifold for my Turbo. The 'standard' one is a good £700 with parts from Autovaux (which is much cheaper than Vauxhall as usual). However, I have been recommended a VXR Z20LEH unit which is half the price:

However my usual garage say it doesn't fit.

 

Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated. As there's a massive price difference I want to do my research first and ensure I purchase the right one.

Yes it does fit. You just have to swap the water cooling pipes over but its an obvious job once they are side by side. Then wind the actuator out a little to the lower boost of a standard vxt

If I were you I would take your car to back on track in Guildford, as they really now what they are doing.

I've got a standard VXT turbo for sale which includes the manifold for £150. Has done 25K miles and was running perfectly when I removed it.
