I spent 17 months making my VX perfect. It was pretty much there, just a slight tendency to under steer to iron out (I'm sure a visit to Steve Guglielemi would have sorted it). Most of the brakes/engine ancillaries/suspension components had been replaced and a full respray done. I was feeling really good about the car until two teenage fucktards  did this:

 

 

My main aim with this post is this. RF03XVS is very dead. If any one is offered any components from this car just say no. The Quantum dampers look OK on the face of it but they are completely unusable. Everything on this car has been subject to extreme temperatures and is not reusable. On the bright side, Moonland just became a bit more of a rarer colour.

I live out in the sticks, the area was pretty much crime free until recently. They started out setting fire to wheelie bins then moved on to the cardboard recycling skip. My car was next to get it. All I know is that teenage kids did it at 4:00 in the morning (my wife heard them just before it happened). By the time I got down the car was too far gone to save so I ran around the area trying to find the culprits. Luckily I didn't catch them as I think I could have killed them with my bare hands. 

 

Every cloud has a silver linning. CCI were absolutely amazing, they paid out enough for me to replace the Moonland in under a week. I did consider a Z4M but some really nice VX's have just come up for sale. Who knows, I might be posting pictures of another VX soon enough.

Little fcukers!!! What drives someone to do such a thing?! Hopefully they'll get caught and get what they deserve. Sorry to see this. Good to see insurance doing what they're paid for.
