Would be easier to just buy a German car.

Beaten to it, thanks.
I keep toying with vents but they somehow make the front look less agressive.

Maybe shallower with an inner curve that follows the curve of the grill area.
I've got a few designs here where I'm always playing in photoshop, but still havent found anything that works yet. Need to get a front end respray so if its going to get done it will be then.

I d install them vertically like in that crapy photo with the red car that i have. They need to be smaller though.

i started to make something very similar with my old clam molds. The centre bar was a lot more angular on the ones i started though. quite like them

Could you make something for the rear clam?
i was looking to do a lotus 2-11 rear design vents even purchased a rear end or a 2-11 to use but its just time involved
to make and redesign the rear to make it a item that people would be able to fit. there was a thread on it sometime back
i was ment to do more on it over winter but just not go around to it to be honest.

I agree with the comment on the front vents being too big, a wee bit smaller would look so much better (see darcini's). Perhaps I should take a covert mould!
