You'll have to buy a complete new unit. The cover/lens is not available separately for either the headlights or rear lights.

Thanks techieboy. Do you know where would be a good place to pick one of them up? Been googling for a while, but struggling to find anything! You'll have to buy a complete new unit. The cover/lens is not available separately for either the headlights or rear lights.

Maybe in the classifieds on here, eBay or from Vauxhall (or a Vauxhall parts specialist like AutoVaux).

If you're up for paying close to £300 then might be worth giving the same dealer a call.

Just take the other one off.
I think it looks quite nice that way. And mine has been through 2 winters without blowing bulbs (parked on the street).

Zuber .... sounds like an elegant & affordable solution! £300ish sounds like an awful lot to pay to replace some broken plastic / glass (wasn't 100% sure which).
Question though - how would I take it off? Just force it, or is there a more sophisticated technique?

It's a solution. Though very very far from elegant.
Usual advice is to stick the whole assembly in the oven on it's lowest heat for a few minutes to soften up the glue and then run a stanley knife around the glue to separate the two halves.

I would never buy a car without the lens in place, be thinking what else have they scrimped on.. may as well spend now and enjoy instead of when you eventually sell...
Mine seems to be working fine apart from self inflicted damage. Besides, who said anything about selling

Yup, have ordered a new unit & although still annoyed that I couldn't get just the lens! Will prob try & sell once it's all sorted & as you say, it sends a out a bad sign if it isn't done properly ...
