Just wondering if I would get more money from stripping the vx for bits or selling it whole. I am just about at the limit with the car, I was just about to start mapping it when it seems the Alternator has now gone on me.

so bits wise

Harrop/sc manifold

engine, rods/pistons/ delete kit/ sell as one, will check the milage since rebuild.

ecu with obtuners software.

quantum one way shocks

hard top

2 sets of TD wheels/1set R1R/ 1 set 888 + 2 new rears

lots of other things ,can't list them as I am too annoyed at the moment.

There is another option Nick.  I appreciate that your sick of it as its been a ball ache.  You could go 'back' to stage 2 or 3 sc fairly easily and just drive it for a bit.  Get some enjoyment instead of stress.  I'm sure there are enough people here who would help out.  You're welcome to raid my parts bin if theres anything that would help.

Just greed for more power which equals stress I guess If you sell you may regret it, take a break and come up with a cunning reliability plan for the future.

Don't do it Nick. A lot of us have done through these phases of wanting to sell. And those that don't sell (well most) are glad to have kept it. Me being one.

Lucky for the vx am working again for a week, so I will have a good think about it. I was really up for sorting it today when the Alternator went couldn't believe the timing of that, maybe because I might have been smiling at fixing the knocking exhaust at the time.

Cheers Lee will keep that in mind.

Oh dear nick, am sorry for you, it can be quite quite demoralising when you are doing all the work yourself :(

Best of luck either way.
