simply chucking it on a rwd platform will make for some comedy death.

I wasn't saying you would not inform them, I just wondered what their reaction would be....

I would have thought the Astra ECU would work fine myself, but I am guessing.

 

I know of someone who uses a OEM Corsa ECU in his VXT to make 450 BHP, so transplanting from an Astra seems quite possible.

I know for a fact that the ecu from the vxt Astra gsi and vxr and corsa 1.0 (and maybe a few others) are exactly the same unit. It just depends on the software being comparable between the Astra and vxt. Anyone ever used opcom to turn features off?
