I guess it was more that the term boost is merely a measure of restriction in the intake path...
MAF might be a better* way to describe it
*more meaningful but less sexy and pub friendly

Aimy, eBay the Garrett, & the manifold as you wont need it if your not going to build a forged engine capable of at least 7,500rpm & spend the £££'s on going to a custom live mapped standalone ECU & job done!
Or should this thread be re-named 'I've bought the wrong turbo what do I do now...'

Standalone and a proper map would have been my first choice before most of your other engine ancillary mods. As above I think your car would benefit the most from correct set up if your not happy with the throttle mapping

It was 28lbs of boost pressure (psi). This was from 2 turbo's as well. It was a little over your estimate. Engine was a cos GBA.

Z20 manifold and a turbo CHRA and housing. Thats what a turbo looks like :-)
