Sounds odd to me. Even on a car with 100k you wouldnt expect wishbones to be changed.
Some clarification should be sort. Have a good look underneath it make sure none of them are banana shaped. That could be an advisory?

Sam
I'm dow in New Milton tonight...tell me where the dealer is and I will pop over tomorrow late afternoon if you want
even with my limited knowledge I can tell what is what and you'll also have the chance to gauage condition against a good'un..buyer beware it seems...my last one with 127k had good wishbones and no corrosion having lived outside for 11 years....smells fishy it seems
HH..pm me with your number to discuss

Car bought and sitting on my drive. Cleaned within an inch of its life and I'm just about to go out and put a huge smile on my face.
Thanks for all the advice and especially HH for his time. Bought with eyes open thanks to him.
Great forum.

Great forum.
Thanks for the kind words
just a couple of tips
1. Get it health checked / serviced by a VX knowledgable mechanic..relly know what you have..
2. Get yourself booked on a drivers day..you get to know the cars limits as well as your own
All new cars came with a days free driving at bedford aerodrome and there are some good guys on the forum
