From memory a refurb was £20 less than a new set of rears via robin on here when i looked into it. Not sure where he got them from but most people i spoke to (inc local friendly lotus dealer) said it wasnt worth the bother refurbing the rears.

That same dealer said that about the fronts :P

I used the company mentioned in the 2nd post as they were the only firm I could find who would take on the caliper refurb.  However I would strongly recommend that no one else uses them based on the experience I had.  See the following link:

In short, the calipers returned and looked great, freshly painted with new seals etc.  I rebuilt the car and delivered it to my local specialist to set the geo and look at the handbrake that I couldnt get right.  He did his best but both calipers were flagged up as a fail come MOT time.  There was an issue with the handbrake adjuster on both of them and pointed towards incorrect re-assembly.  I complained and returned the calipers.  6months later several threats of the small claims court I was refunded after they told me they were on the brink of going out of business.

Maybe I just had a bad experience, but just my 2p.

I've just used this lot, I'll post  the results when I get my caliper back in a few days.

They are very reasonable.

A few people have expressed an interest in this, here are the results.  The caliper is on the car and working perfectly, I stress that it isn't the company mentioned in the second post. They only charged me £30 plus postage to rebuild the caliper. The original problem was that the auto handbrake mechanism wasn't working properly so they must know their stuff.  Big thumbs up from me.

*EDIT* I just double checked the link in the second post and is the same company.  Mixed reviews for this company then.
