Just booked Croft for the 4th april with LoT. Its £125 if you book it now and goes up to £140 in January. You can book HERE.

Might book this when I get paid. What the noise limit for croft? Ignore me just seen its 105db. Need to test mine some how as I reckon it will be louder then 105db

Might book this when I get paid. What the noise limit for croft? Ignore me just seen its 105db. Need to test mine some how as I reckon it will be louder then 105db

 

If its louder than 105 then you can count yourself out of any trackday. Thats ear piercing loud  :mellow:

So was cliffie and his must of been less than that. Mines a turbo so its quieter but with a straight through 2bular mines around 92-95 db on a static test at 4.5k. 

 

Get it tested before you book but i would be surprised if its too loud.

Mine was 103db at oulton earlier this month 2.5 tullet no cat and M62

Isn't the harrop quieter? Sure Lee has just don bedford and they have strict limits.

Has anyone tried one of these Apexi Exhaust Control Valves or similar to get around noise tests? http://bit.ly/17kILff I will def be going to this day.

I look forward to welcoming you all to Croft in April.

 

You should be OK on static, just get the car warmed up well before the test. It is the driveby that restricts at Croft.

It'll be my first of the season and the first with my early steps into modifications (nitron ntr and td1.2s). So I can't wait. Will you be there Mike? Would be great to have a chat and pick your brains about cars and time attack etc.
