Not 100% sure at the moment but I'm looking at something sub 500kg with a bike engine
If I haven't bought something by then I will be hiring an Indy RR Hyabusa.

Looking forward to a go in yours Mike. Will be nice to get some data to compare against mine to see just how much better yours is than my old one.

If you can, obviously once the time comes, could you let me know including costs? I really really wanna do a travk day, just never been able to find a way that would work for me. I have done the 'driving experiences' but the instructors always restricted me stretching the legs of the cars properly. I did get to give a Lambo a workout, after the instructor discussed my driving history and car history.I may be able to arrange that Chris.

Just get some track day insurance and do it. It's what these cars were made for so you're not going to make it blow up or fall over. I guarantee it will be the best decision you'll make!If you can, obviously once the time comes, could you let me know including costs? Does it have a full cage? I'm not really considering anything that doesn't TBH, safety first and all that

AFAIK Dax don't do cages. I just wouldn't feel safe pushing to 100% without one. Thanks for the heads up though.

Not sure my VW Up is quite the right tool to use on a track day, as it really really wasn't designed with that purpose in mind. Now if I still had a VX220 that would be a different matter.Just get some track day insurance and do it. It's what these cars were made for so you're not going to make it blow up or fall over. Ah, didn't realise. That makes more sense. I was there a few weeks back with at a Lotus event and the noise level that day was 95db and a couple of cars were not allowed on the track.
I plan to be there in April but might not go on the track.

Looks like it could be a decent turnout. I could be persuaded find a hotel and stay for beers on the friday night if others want to. Baja what car you going to be driving then??
