After meeting paul from lotus on track at the Autosports show (NEC) it appears my radical won't be allowed on track at croft due to some issues that they have had in the past with other radical drivers.
I don't think it was a bad issue just that the differing closing speeds when approaching a corner and the extra available speed carried through the corners is an accident waiting to happen, he did say it would be unfair and kind of unsafe for both the other lotus on track drivers and the radical drivers.
something to do with their insurance as well.
He has promised me a full refund of my money for the track day, so it looks like i will have to see you all another day at another track.

some whinging lotus drivers....................
To be fair, I did a TVR day at Croft and had a run out in a Supercharged SR3 and the closing speed in corners compared to even very quick cars was down right dangerous. I think anything with proper aero is always going to have issues against regular road cars.

Crikey bet that supercharged SR3 was a beast, standard the lowest powered SR3 factory model is 210bhp 1340cc with the 1500cc SR3 RS model topping out at 290bhp in a car that only weighs about 480KG a supercharged one must be mental.

330bhp IIRC. I thought we were going to crash at least three times due to closing speeds. The driver was saying you had to overtake in corners as you couldn't just lift in the middle to avoid traffic. He did also tell me that he wouldn't be doing any more non-radical trackdays as even he thought is was dangerous.

Booked
Just have to remember you can't just carelessly chuck it into Esses & Barcroft like a TVR
