Very sad news indeed - got to spend quite a bit of time with him at a few of the races last year and it was clear how devoted to JB's racing he was. 

 

John gave us some great nights out - if any of us can party half as hard as he did at that age, we're doing well. 

 

Thoughts with the family.

He's going to need something to keep himself amused as he's not much longer for F1 now he's officialy charged with bribery. Given the charges have come from Germany, I can't see the Federal government who currently own the 'ring letting him have it though.

Yep, just read he's resigned from the board but will still be running it, day to day. But, the reality is, it's the end for him and they'll be looking for a replacement. The rumour was Horner was being groomed for the job but struggle to believe that.

I would hate for that role to corrupt someone like Horner or Brawn, Dennis could do it no problem :lol: but he's just stepped back up to the plate at McLaren.

Why are lotus claiming to have worked on the kers system? I assume they meant last season as they refer to kers rather than ers. I bet I have worked more on next seasons ers than lotus :lol:
