Hi all, After 2 years with my mandarin Na, I sent it one wek ago and I'm ready to look after a VxT. I'm looking for a hpi clear car, not cat C or D, full history and servicing, with preferably less than 40k miles. Color expected black, yellow , red, modified with the right part at the right place. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with me if you think you have THE car of my dream Thanks in advance Philippe

What makes you want to switch from an NA to a turbo?

If it were me, I would have kept the NA and supercharged it. That's a better package than a turbo

Hi, You are totally right, but I live in France and in this country, it's a shame but you can't drive with a surpercharged car on the road If you have an accident or a police control, you lost your car insurance with a modified car, so with a turbo it will be ok because this car is similar to the Opel original Best regards

Yes the small amount of deluded owners would think different. ;) How many tubby owners as of late have sold up and gone NA/SC? Frosty, Graeme, JohnTurbo..... They've seen the light!

I'm a turbo owner, but I wish I could replace the engine with a supercharged Z22SE.

There's no getting away from the fact that the Z20LET just isn't well suited to our cars, they're off balance with this engine hanging over the rear, and the torque causes problems both on and off track.

Anyway, I don't wanna get into a debate. Good luck with finding a turbo  thumbsup

Not me. I'd never stick somebody with a Z22SE, supercharged or not.

Ooo, that's lovely!

It's modified though, so I'm guessing that will cause the same problems as supercharging an NA in France??

The problem is quite bit different with a modified turbo beacause this is an existing model , surpercharged not.

The one in Cheshire?

"I have limited phone use during office hours so email would generally be the quickest way for me to respond, however if you leave me a message I will get in contact at the soonest availability."

Did you email him or leave a message?

I email him several times but no reply! My English is not perfect but my message was clear enough to obtain a reply. Perhaps he has already find a buyer and closed his email box, but his car seemed to be clean

Hi, I would like to add the following information, after more than 6 weeks, I saw many vx for sale on the web and I took an apointment with 5 sellers to see their car. More often the car is really below the original description, so I'm ready to revise my max taget price to reach a little more 13k in order to have a nice example on line with a realistic market price What do you think about that?
