I've no plans to make these. JB makes hard tops round here, and some damn fine ones at that!

Ah, now if you were a politician FLD that would mean "more than likely, if the demand was there"I've no plans to make these.

But that would involve your mould and JB's fittings!

Possibly but unlikely. Satin does have a hint of gloss to it though.
Are you putting it on thick?

Have you made two more hardtops yet? Money waiting

Not particularly, this is definitely a high gloss finish though, I'm thinking I've been supplied with an incorrectly labelled tin...wonder if Macc Paints will be open today, I'll give them a ring. You need anything while I'm there?Possibly but unlikely. Satin does have a hint of gloss to it though. Are you putting it on thick?

I have but I've lost them somewhere. Must've stashed them away with my 200 quid manifold.

Just to update this. I lacquered it. The inside looked quite tacky done in gloss so I tried matt. Still looked gash so I vinyl wrapped it in that velvet-vinyl. Looks loads better! Side seals, front / rear d-profile rubber is on, side edging trim is on. The whole thing lacquered and sealed up comes in at 4.1kg. My fibreglass JB one comes in at 10.4kg so its a good saving.

you would have more workshop space if you sent those two hardtops lying about , down this way

Flock the inside? Can you send one down to me with my coupe rear as well please TAGL
Flocking was 80 quid. The furry vinyl was 50 quid. Same result really.

Do you do this sort of thing for a living?
I couldn't even comprehend being this good at it. i'd love to try but wouldn't know where to begin.
