Well not all straight away.....but Sills first (by that i mean the trim you throw yourself over to get in!), Gearstick Surround, Dash Facias, Binnacle and column cover and finally doors!!.  And the exteriors for another year i think.

 

This is giving me lots of inspiration though.

That looks awesome siztenboots, is the carbon sill quite robust? Does it flex much? Where did you get them from?

You can get cf sills from ultimate carbon plus other cf stuff

Matt that under tray looks amazing. Is it all CF ? That's one of the first things I've seen that must surely save a lot of weight?

Matt that under tray looks amazing. Is it all CF ? That's one of the first things I've seen that must surely save a lot of weight?

 

Its spread tow carbon skins over a 3D core centre.  I used 3D core as I was concerned about rigidity.  This is absolutely solid so straight foam would have been sufficient.  The weight saving is about 1kg, straight foam would be about 1.5-1.75 kg.  Comparing carbon to alloy for weight and rigidity makes you realise what a good material alloy is.

I'm too slow in manufacture to be make any sort of career out of composites I'm afraid.  I could do with an oven!
