I might be going ebay mad but has anyone bought and fitted these ?

Only thing Ive had from this guy is a handbrake cover, which was nice and does the job...

Your views?

I don't like the glue to the sill idea.. but guess no other way around that.

Chavy or not... (cant believe ive asked this)

Seems like a cost effective way of covering a cracked pair of sills certainly Mark.

I'm just not sure how well they would wear - plenty of Elise with leather covered sill panels with bad wear. But then I'm not a fan of the carbon sills either... just call me fussy.

Blimey, they do a leather cover for the entire dashboard as well now. :o http://www.ebay.co.u...=item5af7b0b3d4

Apart from the (not particularly well positioned or straight looking) stitching I'm pretty sure I'd have an easier job trimming it from scratch rather than messing about aligning a pre-cut piece. I would like to see the sill covers fitted. If there is enough material left simply folding over the edges and securing on the underside should be sufficient if you want to preserve the original finish. Having said that a glue such as TimeBond or most spray adhesives will provide a good bond and any residue left upon removal can usually be got off with friction from your fingers alone.

He's got a very good feedback rating. Maybe worth asking for a group buy?

Group by outside of ebay would be welcomed, I'm quite happy to organize it and email the seller if people wanted to try as there's a few pieces I wanted from there.

I The sill covers look good. You could use a strong carpet tape instead of glue, that stuff holds well.

I did email them and unfortunately there is no room for movement on price, even with a group by. Shame, but they were very nice about it and apologetic.

I remember his doorcards being very good, the door corners 95%isch.

Curious on how this turns out in real life.
