So....whose fitting these and for how much? Was going to move to the dark side and sell for something else but may aswell put some extra money into the vx as for the economy and performance it can't be beaten.

Or you can do it for twice if you go to Courtenays

Can you run a standard manifold with a piper exhaust and precat removed?

Just thinking out loud at the moment.....

240-250 bhp Difference is all through the range, torque is dead flat from low down to top end. Your jumping up a good 100bhp in one go, transforms the car big time. £3k fitted is very good value

Its a good increase in hp and probably alot of fun but if my car sell for around 7-8k as it has very low mileage and then add the £3.3k i was going to add for a supercharger there's £10-11k to spend! Which could get you 08 plate 350Z, porsche 911, sl 500 merc, porsche boxster S, vx220 turbo (with remap), new model elise, a very low mileage tvr chimera, vauxhall monaro, bmw m3 etc etc etc

That's a wide range of cars, that yes you could buy, but what are you looking for? Are you happy with your car? If so, 3k spend is good value. If you wanted aircon/heating/added weight/increased fuel usage then go and buy a 350z.

I've DIY'd and having done it I would have no hesitation in giving a car to Joe and Lee if I had to do it again.  For the cost difference its just not worth the spanner rash.

These are all very different cars though, with the exception of the VX220 Turbo of course! None will really offer the same package of chassis / dynamics and basic bhp / torque per tonne as a Stage 2 SC IMO..
