My local scrappy is running one of their wheel barrow days this Saturday.

Basically you pay £50 then fill the barrow with what ever you like.

May have to pick up my front clam Saturday morning but If I do get along I'll be getting stuff for the corsa stock car which i hope to get actually started on soon.

But other than raping vectra's for switches and golfs for relays. Anything else I should be thinking of for VX's or whatever?

Scott.

ABS sensor plugs/wiring? Coilpack?

Don't seem to be any scrappers around here that will allow you in (everything seems to be stripped and shelved and priced high), so no idea how things work and what sort of stuff there is in a more "traditional" place.

Dead Lambda sensors (with plugs... or just the plugs  )

For the Corsa, try to get a mix of 4spd and 5spd Nova gearboxes. While postage is a bit of an issue I still stand by my offer to build a box for you.

Ah coilpacks and sensors good shouts. Aye there's still a few places round here that let you in. The place on saturday does these wheel barrow days once a month and generally let's you buy a car at price and gives you a day to strip it. £40 lift fee if you want an engine too.

I wouldn't visit them on principle. Back in my Uni days me and my mate used to spend hours rummaging through scrappies on the toon, getting bits to keep his old Astra alive. Nearly ended up in the hospital on one occassion when we both started to climb a 'stack' to get to the Astra at the top. As I got to about the 4th car up, I could feel the stack wobbling. The two of us jumped across on to the next 'stack' to see the one we were on topple over. Thought the owner was gonna throw a right tamtrum as he came across, but he thanked us as he'd been having a problem with his fork-lift truck and wanted the Astra down anyway.

The ones round here are usually single level ones and don't allow idiots to climb up to the top of a pile of cars!   :D  ;)

Matiz rear view mirrors & metro wing mirrors to add to your barrow.

Heater boxes?

Spare bulbs can come in handy too.

Would anyone want second hand hubs? A lot of fannying about to get them off just to sit in my garage.

Whole corsa struts though....yes. lol

:)

What I might do is get a set of steelies for rolling the VX on while I'm there.
