And the patient bit will come in handy!  Good luck with the search, although plenty of people wouldn't see the point of a VXR over a VXT, it's your money so do what you like.  

 

I bought a mandarin orange VXT instead of a VXR out of choice purely down to wanting that colour (what I should have bought was an Exige, but that's another story).

If anyone savvy is selling a VXR (or in theory any VX) they'll check out the wanted ads first. Why go through the hassle of sorting a for sale ad and dealing with the dross comments that you get on every for sale thread when you don't have to.

Surely a GOOD vxr is worth 17/18k?

My VXR was mint and full stage 4 low miles. Full history and thousands of pounds of bills and was £15000 and it was for sale for ages as were two others at the time but they are rarer now
