It can look tasteful, I think similar to another, a satin like finish.  Is it Nelly's, single down centre I believe, I think less chance of it looking like it's bent out of the vents? I like the thought, as it's vintage but fresh. maybe just my opinion but I too am after an opinion.

I like the idea mate... Never thought of a single centered stripe for some reason! Thinking satin on the glass black paint would look quite class!

I striped mine to look a bit different.  I got used to it in the end.

Well as I do signage as part of the business I think I can add it and if it looks naff just get rid and go back to the normal... Then at least my curiosity will be fulfilled! I like that centered triple stipe tho Bunsen looks very clean!

I just did it for a bit of chav fun. Those were 3 separate stripes but I found it quite easy to do. I wanted to avoid the tricky shapes which is partly why I went straight down the middle and avoided the grilles.

If you add stripes, you'll have to wear a baseball cap backwards, tuck your jeans into your socks and use the word 'init' to end your sentences

Someone who sees the future :) To be fair tho... It's one of those! Will either look sleek or sh*t but needs to be tried! The same car will be underneath!

I'd rather SUBO took a big dump all over my car personally.  Horses for courses I suppose.

I can see the appeal but my vote has to be no.

No stripes. I think the stripes make it look cluttered and narrower.

QN: Racing stripes, yes or no?

ANS: No, spend your time and money on making it go better (rather than superficial stuff).

You asked, so you got ! LOL

Nev: Doesn't cost me anything just time... But thanks all the same for your opinion. After washing it today I think I like it the way it is without messing! Maybe see how I feel when my V arrives.

I quite like the Vx with stripes, symmetrical or asymmetric would look good matt black or grey on a black VX would look the best Imo.

It's all personalisation, whether it's stripes, leather interior or shiny bits. It's fun asking opinions, but it all boils down to personal taste. Exactly the same as colour of the actual VX!
