i need 2 new lights,  can i just confirm,  if i pledge for the covers but dont want them delivered,  when the lights are made, can i just get the cost of the lenses knocked off as i dont want fit lenses to new lights, i would prefer to have them delivered complete?

I'm in.

My lens covers could do with a serious refresh but like the idea of having a new unit and mothballing my current ones as potential spares.

In that case I'm going to add for the pledge.

Paul, depending how you pledge the money on the website you can either pay now (Paypal) or pay when it's funded (GoCardless). just follow the link to pick your option. http://www.crowdfund...adlight-covers/

Seriously, why not just do a crowdsource for the entire headlight?

Think that's a great idea, I reckon you will get enough people and if not then you can revert to lens to start with. I would put my name down for a full headlight.

I'm not willing to gamble that much money in one go.

Thanks, I just can't risk not being able to deliver the quality people expect if i do it in one go. Here i can define the covers and match the tolerances of the rear to them, making it easy to get it right.

I thought there were only 20 sets though at the start price but what do I know.

I don't need these I did it to get it moving for Fezzasus so if there is any issues I am happy to let dw1 get them. My car is a garage queen and the lenses are in excellent condition.

No problem, the higher price units are the same things, just the first lot were discounted to incentivise the funding.

Up to 50 % funding after less than a day. This is a great reaction.

just a reminder that this won't go forward unless it reaches the target funding, if it fails to then the money gets returned to each account. Clearly we don't want this so I urge anyone considering funding this to go ahead with it, if you pay by PayPal the money goes out straight away (but is held by the website, not me), if you pay by GoCardless then the money only goes out when it's funded.

I would say about half the collisions which damage headlights only damage the lens covers, so storing a set away in case the worst happens could make the difference between a written off car or one that can be put back on the road quickly and easily.
