The VX went onto pastures new a few weeks ago as I had decided that I wanted something a little bit special. Not only as my 40th birthday is looming in April but also because I always wanted one. I have a few track days planned as well as a drive over to a track weekend in Austria later on in the year. I wanted a car that was upto the job and at the same time something which I hope will not loose me too much money.
This particular car was not on my radar per se but after a visit to Back on Track one weekend a month ago this one came to my attention as being for sale. Few chats and test drives and we did the deal.
I collected her last night and enjoyed a 100 mile drive back to London. It is without question the best car I have ever owned. I feel very fortunate to have this opportunity to do it. I have come to the conclusion for various reasons that living for today is what life is all about.
