hans is the safety system fitted to helmets / neck brace system racing drivers use.

I know.

But why do they embroy their advertising into very expensive lotus exige seats?

So this place is becoming seloc, seloc has turned into Porsche owner club, POC is what? Probably Nissan GTRs OC now. So where are the VX's going?

Robin and I went for a 60 mile VX/Lotus blat out towards Brands Hatch to catch some of the country roads around there.

I am trying to catch what I feel about it compared to a supercharged vx. Such different engine characteristics and the gear change takes a lot to get used to. It is bloody quick though regardless and feels incredibly settled at speed. Very confidence inspiring.

Was going to invite you out for a Sunday drive when I get my car back Goose, but I'm not sure I want to be seen out in public with a Lotus…

Or that you would be able to keep up with a Vauxhall

  it really….

Rapid, and sounds the muttz (not as good as mine though eh Goose :poke: ;) )

Beautiful car, but shame about the roads  was fun and nice to get out and about.  Goose, we need to swap seats next time ;)

Goose Love the car but is it slower than you stage 2 sc VX which had similar power but a good chunk more torque? This is not a dig just after your opinion and I realise there is more to this car than straight line speed. Interesting that most people say the Exige feels much more planted than the VX.

Power in VX was 249bhp this is (published) at 260 at 8,000rpm and 236nm at 6,000 rpm

For sure handling is epic.  Coupled with the traction control of what little miles I have done the VX would have lost grip.  This is like glue but again it's an unfair comparison when you look at tyres, traction control LSD etc
