Quite like these ghost corner comparisons. Beats the old side by side stuff.

So Williams started the last race with just 90Kg fuel , trying a different start strategy.
I just can't understand how this is a good strategy?
all the cars are fuel limited, as in they could all use more fuel (power) than the 100Kg's per race limits them to
to then give up another 10% of that makes no sense to me? you telling me that they could not have used that 10% extra power to make up more places during the race?
even if you use the argument that carrying 10Kg's slows them down, then why not use it early on in the race to gain track position?
if they were already the fastest car out there, then, just then, I might see the point....

Quite. Makes no sense whatsoever, unless there's points to be had for an economy drive (God forbid that ever happens) and not using your full quota.
Would be interesting to see what Hamilton's fastest lap "cost" in terms of fuel. There's was obviously a bucket load of performance in reserve to set a time that much quicker than everybody else, on demand.

HAM 1:43.066 53 , the only fuel data is a 3 lap between 51 and 54 , and similar at the start of the race , almost no difference in usage, just a better laptime from other factors.Quite. Makes no sense whatsoever, unless there's points to be had for an economy drive (God forbid that ever happens) and not using your full quota. Some really tight packaging on the RB. Drop a 10mm socket in there and its gone. Feel sorry for the mechanics.
