Hi all,

I have just found Vauxhall make a standard plastic rocker cover which fits all z20le* engines.

I need to replace my rocker gaskets which are ~£35, this plastic rocker cover with all gaskets is £99 +p&p.

It must save a couple of kg's.

I know some the na/sc cars have switched to plastic covers, is there any reason I should not do this on a high boost turbo???

Being plastic makes them easy to sand and spray with some "exotic" go-faster colours, I too succumbed to this dysfunctional need  Shame on me !

Looks good,

I probably going to paint mine while it's off, thinking red.

Anyone know what the best paint to use, I assume any heat/oil/petrol resistant paint will do.

Just brought some of these to replace the rusty ones.
