Please be aware the Elise Shop ones do not grip the balls on the gearbox shifter as tighhtly as std. I had to re use the std ball sockets from the original cables. The Elise Shop ball sockets kept flying off. This will probably only manifest itselt II you are using a quick shifter on the geerbox. Kindly, Paul

The cablecraft ones from Elise-SHOP are £180 delivered and look OK. I have the pleasure of fitting a set to my car in the next couple of days :o

If you want a hand, just shout.

Just seen your offer, thank you, just wish I'd seen it before doing the job :beat: Not too bad of a job but the extra thickness of the cables have caused a couple of issues, one being the little bracket that stops them from resting on the handbrake cable is no longer wide enough. Another observation is the absence of the heat shielding found on the oem cables, on the turbo one at least.

I used some shielding stuff from merlin motorsport.

yes the thickness does make routing tricky but still doable, I removed the little rivet down bracket as it wasnt nessecary imho

I'm re-using the quick sleeve heat shielding I had plus about half hundred weight of nimbus in the vulnerable areas, these fuckers are not going to melt again :tt:

fortunate that Bargi had bought too much heat shield and left the spare with BoT for future kits to use up.

Pop them off the box and see if the gearstick is still stiff to move.

See of you can get a better deal with 2 pairs or maybe a group buy again as I could do with a pair.

group buy would be nice as I might need new ones too, last season I had problems with shifting, needed to use force to put the gears in after I've driven a while. but I will drive the car as soon as I get it finished and see if the problem still exist, 8 months later.
