Expensive but awesome!

It certainly likes to rev! It's like chalk and cheese to a Turbo Vx

As good as the LS engines are il be sticking to TVR's own engines......bloody expensive though!

Go on, do it!  15k sees you well over 1000bhp.  You know it makes sense!

Blimey! That would be crazy!

It looks like it's a had nice life previously. Used a full tank of fuel from York to near Blackpool including a bit of a detour (there and back) which equates to 30mpg which I didn't think was too bad not that it matters but was intrigued none the less

Oh yes, think I got a quote from them already. Your chassis looks very tidy!! Has it been treated recently? Looks really sorted. I'm planning on a body off restoration next winter but it doesn't really need it. Refreshing all bush's and ball joints this winter.

Prices will depend on what quality carpet your wanting No it's not been treated it's just clean. As I won't be using it through winter I don't plan on wax oiling it etc :) Sounds like you've got a busy winter!

I've not had them side by side but I would of thought the Vx is quicker lower down and the TVR quicker top end. I find the the vx220 feels quicker than it is even though it is a quick car, I find turbo cars feel quicker than they are. where as the Tvr is the opposite Maybe with it been naturally aspirated so it can get you into trouble!

Decided to have the cam cover polished. I was tempted with a carbon fibre plug cover but went for Candy Apple Red finish.Still not sure wether to keep it this colour or go for a carbon fibre plug cover...anyway Just waiting for my Titanium bolts and then I can fit it (Not the best of pics) Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image

Santa's been very generous this year and has bought me these (GAZ Monotubes) Posted Image I find the Tam quite soft but maybe it's me comparing it the Vx anyway these should firm it up a little (hopefully not too much as I don't want to turn it into a bone shaker)

Yeah would be great to hear how you are getting on with it, this year has been a real challenge to not sell up and get a straight 6.
