The atmosphere in the Mercedes motorhome is going to be a little bit frosty in a couple of hours.

Why wasn't the rosberg hamilton incident at least investigated by stewards?

I guess Mercedes didn't immediately send a runner to Charlie to complain.

I don't know why Lewis is still out there. They should have retired him and saved the "engine" use.

Think Nico might have to do a runner tonight given the reactions of Lauda and Toto. Brit fans not overly amused either.

Toto and Niki have definitely given Lewis a big group man hug. Never seen Lewis as chilled after a bad race as this.

It was a racing incident, nothing more nothing less. Whats more, Lauda and Toto seem to be replicating Hamiltons childish behavour in interviews, all gob and no sense. I expected more from Toto, at least you know with Lauda he's going to talk utter bollock before he's opened his mouth, Toto always seemed to talk sense. If you saw the Sky interview with Hamilton, wheel him out with tears in his eyes and that bloody voice he puts on when he's feeling a little sad, pathetic. And begging to be allowed to retire from the race so early?! Alonso in the same car and situation as Hamilton would have picked up a point or two Im sure, Rosberg maybe the same.

It was a 100% Nico's fault and he should have got a drive through for it. Lewis couldn't have a got any points anyway, it made perfect sense to retire the car.

And Alonso lost his wing in a loss of patience behind Vettle so I wouldn't be too quick to predict his performance in the same situation.

And the PR is hotting up nicely. Its going to be a messy end of year isn't it :D

Lewis Hamilton claims Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg admitted in a post-race meeting that he deliberately hit him during Sunday's Belgian Grand Prix.

Hamilton's race was effectively ended when he suffered a puncture on lap two at Spa after Rosberg collided with him.

The German went on to finish second, extending his lead in the championship to 29 points with seven races left.

"We just had a meeting about it and he basically said he did it on purpose," said Hamilton.

The 2008 world champion added: "He said he could have avoided it, but he didn't want to. He basically said, 'I did it to prove a point'."

More to follow.

I think you're right james, had it been a red bull on lewis they'd have call foul and stewards would have served a penalty. Certainly gonna get frostier between Lewis and Nico.

I think Lewis is also blaming the team for not putting and retiring earlier Lewis to Ferrari ???
