he has a dyno program on his lap top and plugs it into your com port. you roll ticking over in 2nd he hits a button it counts down 10 seconds to calibrate itself(or something) then you floor it till you have to change to 3rd. it then works out distance travelled and speeds and acceleration according to the input details of your car, does calculations to take ambient temps and stuff into account and hey presto, you have your power figure.thats as i understand it, but as he told me, there could be 15% more power there, as aimy found..

also it was done with him in the passenger seat adding axtra weight to the car..

Alot of this is subjective as you can tell. Hardly anyone has actually owned a VX with a 3" Tullett and then a 2bular and then a custom made system (a'la DH).   Pick depending on your budget/availability/favourite name. Enjoy.

exactly. I am happy with my tullett which i've had for a few years. It has needed repacking but I think that Will be true for any stage 4 after a while. So make sure you get a repackable one. I had a 2.5 miltek and the tullet 3 was a lot freeer. Otherwise not many people can really compare a number of exhausts.

I find my tullet is very tame on normal driving until you press the loud pedal then it comes to life

Still looks brand new, been fitted for 20k miles and 3 years now.

MMG doesn't have a rolling Road but after been from stage 2,3 and now 4 I put my car on the same rolling road at each level of tune so I can see the difference and tbh Liam's figures aren't to far off

Oh right they look very smooth Might have a nice open road to lay the power out with stage 4 :) Rolling roads change all the time anyway and have been told they can change parameters to make any figure u like so I don't get to held up on graphs As long as it feels good on the road

it feels good in short bursts, long bursts, country lanes, A roads and motorways..... in 5th from 90 it accelerates like its in 2nd....off the line there's not much on 4 wheels that  can touch it...... and not had a bike that can live with it off the line either... lol

Oh right they look very smooth

That's the software "smoothing" it out to make it look pretty. I'm sure there will be an option to show what it sees raw and you'd see a more ragged graph.

judging by liams reaction to the smoothness of the line i would have to dissagree with you there.he was over the moon with it, and even said whilst doing the run it was a very smooth delivery. magnified the line would look slightly different but then everything would....

Output is smoothed ...

Get it to http://www.tdi-plc.com/ to check fueling if you track it

Yes if you think the map is super smooth (on the graph) you are definitely wrong

Even Courtney's use smoothing,As do a lot of other RR. Also a car can drive very different on the road compared to the shape of the graph on a RR that's why (IMO) its good to have your car mapped on the road and checked on the dyno or vise versa

Logging data via the Kline interface will always produce a choppy set of data, whereas spinning up a properly damped roller will smooth things out as well as the engine permits.... Road only calibration can produce some comedy graphs and dyno only can produce a diabolical to drive engine. But I know where I'd rather take a power figure from and it's not what some home made or Kline logger claims.
