Found these on ebay. Someone here who got any info on them?

Warninglights came on when I saw it was uklotuscentre.

This is the info I got from them:

"they are 2 way dampers, they have covered around 10k miles, not sure on the spring ratess and also not sure last time they were serviced."

Bet they are pricy to refurb/serivce from what I´ve read on here.

I have them on my car, and they are awesome!

How hard is it to take a decent photo though FFS!

Can you elaborate? Other manufacturer with Ohlins logo?

Think they are renowned for needing regular rebuilds and servicing - that's what one specialist told me anyway (and not one related to Scuffers)

Regular in 3000 miles or 10000 miles? I understand that there is not definite answer to that but an estimation perhaps.

Mine have had one corner rebuilt in 19,000 miles. Luck of the draw perhaps.

You happy with them? Did you go from something else (Gaz/Nitron/Quantum etc) to Ohlins?

Did Ohlins market a 'Track Pack' set for the VX?  They look too new for a VXR set.

OP, the original VXR purchasers who opted for the Ohlins dampers had the pleasure of a slip of paper in the handbook stating Vauxhall offered no warranty on the dampers.  When they began to fail a few months and 1,500 miles after purchase, the owners knew why.

Don't ask Goose if he's happy. He's never happy. He's like the Tony Hancock of Lotus owners.

And I'm only a few miles down the road from UKLC, if you want someone to make sure they aren't actually blurred, I've always wanted to meet the fabled Rocky.

Mine were fitted by Plans in 2011:

No rebuild required yet (so they'll probably need one any day)

I'd be asking myself if I 'really' need 2 way shocks.

If not, then buy new 1 way (from other manufacturers) for very similar money.

I´m still waiting for some more pictures, and also part number on the dampers to verify they are the correct ones.

If I decide to bid on them it would be great to have someone go take a look at them. I´ll let you know and thank you for the offer.

A good question, which I have been asking myself while looking at different options. I had almost decided I would go for Nitron 46 1 way dampers and then these popped up.

What appeals to me is that you have the option to customize the car exactly the way you want it to behave.

I have 46mm Nitrons (1-way). So far have been brilliant. I find I don't make too many adjustments to them. I went for 1-way as I feel that being able to set them up correctly would be outside of my talent zone (not saying that's the case with you, just my reasoning for why I bought them).

Think these Ohlins shocks from UKLC are on Ebay for several moths now. Makes you wonder why they're not snapped-up earlier for that price...
