I have to replace the OE shocks as they are starting to leak so are considering replacing it with new Coilovers, As I do not do track days I am looking for something more road orientated. Have been looking at the Gaz gold that seem to be popular there are also the Spax RSX. The question is are they suitable for road use, also would there be anything else in the market that is similar prices?

A new/refurbished set of billies and maybe some refreshed bushes are probably the way to go for a road set up as Matt says no?

Like Norman I have them on mine too as do quite a few here; slightly harsher than billies on poor roads a but good alternative without having to mess around with set up. Keep an eye out on ebay for sets that have delivery mileage from cars that are being set up for dedicated track use.

I much prefer my Quantum zeros to the standard suspension but then it's not really a direct comparison new vs between 33k and 56k miles.
Still, it does ride very well and the car looks better being a bit lower.

a LOT of time by very expereinced guy(s) went into tuning the car's handling with the OEM billies. I would refurb those for the bext cost/handling benefit if it were me.
