Funny you should say that, Manor F1 are saying they'll race this year!! That's a lot of work to do!full driving line-up for the final day of Jerez testing: Mercedes - Lewis Hamilton Red Bull - Daniel Kvyat Williams - Felipe Massa Ferrari - Kimi Raikkonen McLaren - Jenson Button Toro Rosso - Max Verstappen Lotus - Romain Grosjean Sauber - Marcus Ericsson To be honest , I have not missed the tail end teams.

So with the talk of Manor racing returning and using their 2014 car, do they still get the most up to date ferrari engine to go in it?
Seems like the new engine is a good-un.

I think Ferrari need every opportunity to put track/race time on as many of their engines as they can.So with the talk of Manor racing returning and using their 2014 car, do they still get the most up to date ferrari engine to go in it? Seems like the new engine is a good-un.

Ferrari could probably bankroll Manor as a test mule team....

I read that Mercedes' new engine is mounted differently this year. If the Ferrari unit is the same the 2014 Marussia chassis would have to use the 2014 Ferrari engine I guess...

Did anyone watch Ted's notebook tonight? The Mclarens rear end is rather nice, it's all very tightly packaged.... Excuse all the puns lol!

Not the end of the world. The Brawn car was a last minute cut and shut engine change and that worked fine. Additionally the real reason Lotus were late to testing is they were waiting for money to pay to machine engine mounts, only received it last week. I would expect a similar turn around time for Marussia/Manor if they commit to get back on the grid

Same agreement as Sauber. Free engines (or heavily discounted) but they get run 50 bhp less, Ferrari get the data from developments to the car as well as the engine, and have driver selection input.
