Well... After a searching for ages I found a reflector led that I like

Fog light

Reverse light

These are going to replace my current reflectors so that I can remove the fog and reverse light that sit behind the 2 rear grills.

Then I will be able to remove the grills dremel (finally!!) out the areas behind the grill to help release all the heat :)

Have you considered fitting one or two small electric fans to draw the hot air out?

Just a thought...

It may be more fun for a keen dremel man like yourself. But, think of your lovely car first! You could put in a couple of neat holes into the wheel arch areas with fans or a large electric fan mounted under the coupe hatch or both first? with little damage or at least damage that is easy to rectify later.

dont worry Max, he is only going to make the two rear grilles either side of the exhaust functional.

Currently they are blanked off and do nothing thumbsup

i dont think the fans will work at all

the problem is i have no way in getting the heat out

i have the 2 side vents - 1 for intake and 1 for cold air flow to the boot floor!

i have the 2 naca ducts

so i have hardly any air coming in and none that can get out realistically. i have lowered the diffuser and added nimbus to the tailpipe but still think i have way too much heat even after road use.

i think cutting the 2 pockets that sit behind the grills is the perfect idea and shouldnt spoil the looks at all.

i have the roof scoop but i think with the motorsport bootlid i think all the air from the scoop goes straight out the bootlid imo

Suck air in through with a fan on the underside of the coupe grills?

I removed my boot floor Anyway....Big Mistake! All the hot air rises into the engine bay area...Not good!

Yeah, that dremel work looks fine. I thought you were going to do dirty big holes everywhere like mine! Which looks really, really Sh^t & just lets all the noise out.

Yeah that's enough I think I will cut some holes behind the number plate so when on track I can remove rear plate

Isn't there normally a grill for air where the holes are?

I don't get where your are planning to add holes, it looks like the holes where the grills were get covered up by those plastic things?

Was considering this on the VX, with the only worry being that the heat will melt the glue on the velcro. Current one is riveted on and need to replace anyway... to get rid of the Euro logos

Lol you aren't the first to get confused maybe I didn't make myself clear  Oem = fibreglass behind the grill with either a reverse or fog light there. Then the grill goes in front of this What I've done is remove the lights and cut the fibreglass out. Therefore a big hole either side of the tailpipes. Then I will refit the grill

Lol true, I have a black plate thing there currently (see photo above) so this will protect it I guess. The Vx number plate goes half into the boot though doesn't it?

That makes perfect sense now. Still only going to be small holes, I hope it's enough although I'm doubtful it would make a huge difference. :/

Each hole is 300x110mm so I think they are big enough :)

Figured I'd get some flow round the boot floor and up... it isn't too much higher than the mesh with the exhaust mustache thingy :)
