Well cracked on with the car today, started off by fitting my new brake cooling ducts into the mesh either side of the grill. Put some tights on them to stop crap going through! Will update for this tokorrow as I forgot to take one
But here are the ducts, then fitted 51mm hose
Then me and mark decided to debadge it
Also forced to fit new indicator stalks
Then went to fit the shift light but accidentally applied too much pressure to the glass lense on the speedo (yes it's glass on a s1!) so cracked it so removed it and stuck back
As good as new
Was going to buy some Perspex and make a new one using that as a rough template but luckily I'm in the clique and there is one 20mins away at casa del vockys!
So then decided to remove the carbon binacle cover as it has faded over time and gone a bit greeny so delegated that job to mark and he did good!
So now I have a carbon fibre space helmet!
And Jesus that binacle cover (not space helmet) is heavy! Madness.

Well as the car is 20 this year I think it's time to treat it to some paint. Just priced to replace all the sills and it's £600 
expensive rubber! that's almost as much as Fld's mum has spent on rubber toys!
