made it to 2nd page on the projects area! bad times!!

To be honest a few things have gone on but i was fed up with the fact photobucket has disapeared grrr...

Anyways.... So it was about time i finally got rid of the crappy 4-2-1 exhaust system currently fitted so i bought this:

Im hoping the primaries will miss the subframe.. time will tell! But im also guessing the u bend may need modifying and also a lambda boss will need wedding in for wideband whne it gets mapped.

Also not sure how this happened but...

a rotrex accidentally jumped in my car! but this definately wont be fitted this winter... maybe next winter but who knows.

the rotrex kit is from Jez at back on tracks civic.. so it can definately get good power... maybe too much

We will see how much the new exhaust will bring.

I have decided to sell the 5.1 FD but carry on with the plan to change 4/5/6 gear ratios. Trying to raise some funds to put a quaife in aswell but not sure how thats gonna go unless anyone can get discount on one?! !?

Car was awesome this year, so roll on next year where i hope to do a couple of sprint days with the vxers aslong as they dont interfere too much with the wedding/honey moon stuff!

chinky chinky

How come you are adding/changing this stuff if the car is so settled and fast at the moment? Won't a S/Cer spoil the good recipe you have already?

What's the weight of his Elise, 825 Kg maybe?

I thought his car was fast due to having really well setup suspension, would your's benefit from 50+ hours and umpteen tests to set yours up next?!

Next time you go round, quietly glue some lead sheet under his carpets, that should slow him down a bit! LOL

The car is fantastic at the moment, however.. I want to change 4/5/6 as the car starts to run out of puff above 100 which is very noticeable when up against all you big boy sc and turbo cars Went for the new exhaust as if I can squeeze maybe 10bbp out of it, the car will be even more unstoppable The main reason for buying the sc was future proofing myself before misss turns evil  plus the way I drive the engine cannot last forever  so if it dies I will chuck a standard lump in it and have about 400ish hp. It is cheaper to just sc s standard engine than to rebuild another high powered na engine And this kit is a known good one and was cheap so rude not to grab it
