Surely the man who suggested starting a list should be near the top of it... Or at least on it!

That looks great. I always think the heater panel lighting looks a little desperate when next to any modern stereo head unit. 1. Johnk393 2. -Dab-of-Oppo- 3. Andy_VX 4. Haggi961 5. r2mlb 6. CocoPops 7. GiGo 8.Barton 9.Dollon 10. Pete-R

Thanks for the numbers GiGo - my first list..

Graeme, of course you can be on the list, sorry.  I didn't interpret your helpful suggestion as a definite interest but happy to include you...

I was just going through renumbering everything, but I see you've beaten me to it.  This is going mad, such a response!

Looks good, begs the question why it wasnt built like that in the first place.

Perhaps because it's not needed? I like the lack of distractions in the VX compared to regular cars. It's not like we're equipped with some complicated climate control system that needs a PhD to use. I must use the controls twice a year, once to turn the fans off when the outside temperature is over 10° and the other time to turn the fans on when the temp falls below that. Heat dial has no effect, it's boiling hot air all the time in my car and the direction seems to make no difference either.

Ok boys, this sounds like it could be a goer. Please bear with us though, it's only at first prototype with a few issues to sort out still. We want to put together a professionally finished product that's an easy fit, so it'll be a month or 2 before we can get the bugs ironed out and the suppliers sorted. Meantime when we get any progress I'll chip in here...and if any more of you think you might fancy one just add to the list. Nice one Chaps!

To Techie, the fan control is easy in the dark but I forget if its the air direction is on the left or it's the heater level 😕 Certainly if this is an easy install I'd go for it too.

He he..  Bit of a list freak myself.  That Todo list just keeps on getting longer and longer, even though I keep ticking things off!

We're hoping to bring it in under or around the £30 mark.  How would that sit with everyone?

Obviously, the more takers we get the more likely we are to make that target or beat it...
