A good read... Lots of work gone into that. I so could be tempted by bikes, but I wouldn't survive my first year. Oh and that front sprocket :o

Nice bike Lee.

Motorbikes, though..  Terribly dangerous, noisy, anti-social things. Best left alone. Maybe wives have the right idea.. The money is best spent on cushions, kitchens and such like.

I'll confirm this tomorrow after riding the bike again..

Failed its MOT - play in head bearings. Whizzed back home, adjusted them and went back but they've worn and are notchy. Bummer.

Still good news is it took about 2 miles to get back into the groove!

My poor YZF-R6 hasn't turned a wheel, or the crankshaft for that matter, for 3 years. Time to breath life into the poor thing.

It actually looks ok in this photo but its in a pretty sorrowful state. It'll need a lot of TLC.. which is being documented here

Err nearly.. Been slow progress due to available time and a c*ck up with the bearings. Ordered wrong ones initially which caused a load of hassle. Got correct ones at the weekend and they're in, headstock is on, forks are in. I just have 30 mins job to tighten all up and front wheel back in..

Prob re-MOT at the weekend..

lol it's destiny. I did. a weekend bike trip around Wales this weekend with some of me old fast bike mates. I did more miles this weekend than in the last 3 years and it was awesome. Good to be back on it.
