Just to check (because this is Lotus related stuff), do the head units have ISO connectors or do they they have Lotus specific connectors

They have no harness. You would need the alpine iso harness. Lotus buy the units With out wiring kits as the car has the alpine connector. eBay should be fine, maybe a tenner?

Astra 4 bolt hubs and new discs. Lighter as well (well a little bit but all helps)

Well... didn't see that and totally missed the opportunity.

If anyone here has bought a chassis harness and do not plan to use it, I will be very interested in one of those. I butchered quite a lot my OE one when going standalone ECU and will be very interested in getting back the Speedster to a road spec.

Makes no sense to me...

So has the stock dried up or something?

Has been quite for a while.

Anybody with access to the "the list" can confirm?

It's all down to the dept in lotus and their buy in price. Lotus Production. Lotus Aftersales. Lotus Motorsport. That's the reason behind the pricing.

I'd like a new short driveshaft to go with my new long driveshaft, but they unfortunately didn't show up on the site.

Next best thing would be a new CV joint for the short side, but at twice the price it's kinda hard to justify

Should have just bought a long one and used the joints on your old short shaft
