Apparently need to adjust the TPS. I have some good instructions but it assumes you know where the TPS is lol

Should sit on the throttle plate(s) axle, so not many other places to look for it on an ITB system...

If its webcon managed then to a webcon dealer you go probably. Worst management to have as unlike Omex you can do very little yourself.

Why does it need adjusting? As soon as you start moving things make sure you know how to go back when it all goes horribly wrong.

It will be easy to set up. In reality a 10min job with a multi meter and a screwdriver. I assume you are not getting 0 or 5v at throttle closed?

its on the left hand side as you look from the rear under/adjacent to the left hand end of the air filter. If its like mine its got a red body and a black clamp held by two slotted screws. They suffer from water ingress. You can make a cover by cutting off the bottom 2 inches of a 500ml plastic coke bottle, cut a slot down the side so it can expand and it slots over the whole assembly and keeps it dry

Excellent ghetto fix, I approve. You chaps would be proud of my pickle jar swirl pot! :)

It's a real pain in the arse. You get it juuuuust so, tighten the clamp up and it alters the value. On, and don't be pikey - make up some break out cables rather than scrapping the insulation off to take your readings, that way the cable won't corrode in a few years time.

adjusting the tps can effect the map across the whole rev range, are you wanting to increase the idle or move the tps to give a different voltage reading?

what ecu is it i have a laptop that i use for adjusting my mapping and a few cables your welcome to use

Webcon is a closed ECU, so a laptop is useless. The eml turns on when the tps is out of range or disconnected, so adjusting it is the correct procedure.

Sounds like a similar TPS setup to the one on a weber alpha kit I had. Had to adjust it every time I balanced the carbs. Sometimes you got it first time other it took a few attempts 😡. Some sort of fine adjustment screw would have made life much easier.
