My standard mounts broke and pissed horrid oil all down my brand new dampers.... very annoying.

Huh? The side mounts are just chunks of rubber?

 

 

 

Yes I had the same reaction... Email to Jez (BOT) "my dampers just blown up....."

 

Jez "no it hasn't that's your engine mount!" So that's what's inside them horrid stuff!!

So after living with them for a while your fed up with vibration Martin? Do you drive yours on the road much or mainly trackdays?

If this was just a road car I wouldn't do this (Sort of wish I hadn't done it) . It does definitely make your car feel rougher.   Martin S

Well Jason, fitting the front and rear powerflex bushes with OEM side mounts has introduced vibration into the cabin when im sat still; it i's no big issue. Surely the vibra side mounts will only create the vibration at tick over?
